The introduction of coffee, tea and chocolate to Europe, beginning in the late 16th century, profoundly changed drinking habits, tastes and social customs. It spurred an insatiable demand for specialized vessels such as chocolate pots and cups. Debbie will speak about the role of Jews in diffusing chocolate through Europe and their chocolate making skills. She will also sign books.
